The challenge was to rapidly deliver a multi-brand platform on Oracle Commerce allowing Vodafone to go to market with a number of different brands, segmenting intelligently but with a common goal. The project was completed in thirteen weeks. This goes against the reputation of many other large commerce platforms, and shows what can be achieved when there is a well-executed thought process prior to project commencement, with smart and experienced engineers to hand.
This platform not only sells phones under different brands but operates all "pay as you go" and monthly billing systems, and requests for "top-ups" by customers, and fully integrates with the underlying MVNE architecture for core telecom services.
