Technical Infrastructure Consultant
Technical Infrastructure Consultants are responsible to apply knowledge of network, hardware, system, and database administration to ensure appropriate installation, configuration, and operations of Oracle Retail application software and underlying infrastructure components for OLR and its clients.
We rely on our Technical Infrastructure Consultants to:
- Install and configure database instances for Oracle Retail applications
- Set up and maintain web server and application server hardware and software environments
- Analyze database and hardware sizing and capacity planning for OLR clients
- Assist project teams in defining software functionality and performing appropriate modifications and enhancements
- Facilitate the logging, reporting, and resolution of application and infrastructure issues infrequently
- Assist in maintaining the OLR software development environment as needed
- Transfer knowledge to client personnel and 3rd party vendors, especially related to Oracle Retail and OLR applications and requirements
- Assist in performing go-live assessments to determine readiness of Oracle Retail systems, client, and support teams
- Maintain, support and troubleshoot OLR and client environments
