Support Consultant
Support Consultants are responsible to assist in the development, testing, and support of Oracle Retail application software for our clients. This includes programming modifications to existing software code, writing new software code, testing and debugging along with ensuring appropriate documentation is generated.
We rely on our Support Consultants to:
- Log, report, and resolve Oracle Retail application issues for clients daily
- Assist in maintaining software development environment
- Support and troubleshoot client production environments on a daily basis
- Regularly communicate with clients by providing on-call support as needed during business and non-business hours
- Assist project teams in defining Oracle Retail software functionality
We are looking for Support Consultants with:
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and willingness to provide exceptional customer service
- High degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to change in a complex global organization
- A working knowledge of at least two of the following: PL/SQL, C / C++, Oracle ProC, Java (J2EE), Oracle Forms, XML, or UNIX (shell scripting)
