Senior Technical Consultant
Senior Technical Consultants are responsible to provide technical guidance during all phases of an Oracle Retail project life cycle using their excellent interpersonal, planning, and problem-solving skills. Senior Technical Consultants must have retail industry knowledge along with technical experience with Oracle Retail software (such as RMS, RPM, RDW, RIB, ReSA, RTM, SIM, etc).
We rely on our Senior Technical Consultants to:
- Provide technical leadership, motivation and direction for the project team, while managing day to day activities such as issue, risk and change management
- Be responsible for the overall quality and reliability of solutions on a daily basis by providing guidance to Technical Consultants and developers on coding standards and industry best practices.
- Ensure that development standards are followed for each phase of the software development life cycle, and that best delivery practice and methods for the implementation of Oracle Retail solutions have been adopted within the project plan
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, conducive to incremental business development on an on-going basis
- Lead and perform the analysis, definition, development and testing of client data conversions, interfaces, and application enhancements
- Facilitate the logging, reporting, and resolution of application issues as needed
- Build overall client system schedule including online and batch operations
- Communicate knowledge transfers to client's personnel and required third-party vendors regarding Oracle Retail software and OLR applications and requirements
