Senior Business Consultant
Senior Business Consultants are responsible for assisting clients in the functional analysis of their retail systems during the implementation process by applying combined knowledge of the retail industry and Oracle Retail software functionality.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst who is degree qualified with ideally 5+ years of retail industry experience. A working knowledge of Oracle Retail applications, such as RMS, RPM, RDW, RIB, ReSA, RTM, SIM, etc. are essential.
We rely on our Senior Business Consultants to:
- Provide functional leadership, motivation, and direction for the Business Consultants on a daily basis, while collaborating with the project team to achieve client and team objectives
- Guide Business Consultants on industry best practices and continually share knowledge to ensure the best delivery practice and methods for the implementation of Oracle Retail solutions have been adopted within the project plan
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, and act as an advisor to educate clients and business users about system functionality and provide coaching for business process team leads
- Define the system configuration requirements, identify gaps and recommend system modifications and processes to satisfy business requirements using the Oracle Retail software
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the functional capabilities and integration points of the Oracle Retail applications including in-depth understanding of the following retail concepts: merchandising, inventory management, warehouse management, store operations, planning/forecasting, replenishment, and pricing
- Define project objectives, scope, along with integration alternatives
- Analyze and document "As Is" business processes and develop "To Be" processes
