Database Administrator (DBA)
Database Administrators assist OLR and its clients with their technical infrastructure requirements. This is achieved by applying knowledge of Oracle database administration, along with network and hardware systems, to ensure appropriate installation, configuration, and operations of Oracle Retail application software running on various underlying infrastructure components.
We rely on our Database Administrators to:
- Assist with the installation and configuration database instances for Oracle Retail applications
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of web server and application server hardware and software environments
- Contribute to the analysis of database and hardware sizing and capacity planning for OLR clients
- Assist project teams in defining software functionality and performing appropriate modifications and enhancements
- Assist in maintaining the OLR software development environment as needed
- Maintain, support and troubleshoot OLR and client environments
