Colorado Group is aggressively growing through increased sales and acquisitions of retail and wholesale footwear, apparel and accessories. To achieve that growth and do so profitably, the retailer needed to replace legacy IT systems that had been patched together over 25 years.

As one of Australia's oldest footwear retailers, Colorado Group Ltd. has a heritage dating back almost 140 years. In 2004, the retailer had grown to 407 stores comprised of five footwear and fashion chains in Australia and New Zealand. Among its brands are Colorado, Diana Ferrari, JAG, Mathers Shoes and Williams the Shoemen.

In an important step toward that goal, the retailer searched for a merchandising system that would streamline the integration of new product lines across its chains.
